Scope and Contents

LaDonna Harris, President of Americans for Indian Opportunity, is resigning as President of the Policy Council of the AIO Action Council due to a requirement by the Ford Foundation. She recommends that Bill Gover be chosen as Acting President and that the name of the AIO Action Council be changed to Native American Lobby. Harris expresses appreciation for the continued support and looks forward to working together.
