Correspondence Regarding Investigation into the Indian Rehabilitation Program for Parolees, 1970-07-09
Scope and Contents
Reverend Arthur Stoneking wrote a letter to Senator Fred R. Harris regarding the Indian Rehabilitation Program for Indian parolees funded by the U.S. Department of the Interior. Stoneking expressed concerns about lack of response and transparency in the program, and requested a complete investigation. Senator Harris responded with warm regards and promised to provide a report after contacting the Department of the Interior. Stoneking also sent a packet of information about the parolee program to Senator Harris.
