Senator Fred R. Harris received a letter from Mrs. Ruth E. Rains inquiring about scholarship programs for Indian children who wish to attend college. Senator Harris wrote to the Bureau of Indian Affairs to request information for Mrs. Rains. The Bureau of Indian Affairs responded to Senator Harris, providing information on the Scholarship Program and suggesting that Mrs. Rains contact Mr. Leroy Falling for more information.
