Mr. Little Charlie Franks is seeking assistance from the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the GI Bill to attend college part-time. He contacted Senator Fred Harris for help with his request. The Bureau of Indian Affairs responded to Senator Harris, stating that Franks can apply for supplemental aid for his GI Bill benefits on a need basis. The letter also mentions that neither of the Bureau's offices have record of prior contact with Franks. Senator Harris is in the process of contacting the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the Veterans Administration to assist Franks with his request.
