Scope and Contents

Mr. and Mrs. Bried wrote to Senator Harris seeking help for their grandson Michael, who is of Indian descent and is pursuing a pre-medical course at the University of Oklahoma. They believe there was a mistake in registering his Indian blood and are seeking assistance in obtaining scholarships to finance his education. Senator Harris responded by providing information on Bureau of Indian Affairs scholarships and offering further assistance if needed.
