Correspondence Regarding Financial Aid Support for Claude Archiquette, 1971-01-01 - 1971-12-31
Scope and Contents
Bob L. Archiquette wrote a letter to Senator Fred Harris seeking assistance for his son, Claude, who is attending college and in need of financial aid. Bob explains that he can no longer afford to provide financial assistance to Claude due to his own financial situation, and Claude is struggling to save money from his summer job to cover his expenses. Despite applying for aid from the school and the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Claude has not received enough support to continue his education. Bob is concerned about the lack of understanding from the school's Student Aids Committee and hopes Senator Harris can provide assistance or advice. Senator Harris forwarded Bob's letter to the Bureau of Indian Affairs for reevaluation and informed Bob that he will follow up with any updates.
