Letter from Senator Fred R. Harris Regarding Funding for Osage Language and Indian Culture Classes, 1971-10-14
Scope and Contents
Mr. Charles A. Tayrien wrote a letter to Fred R. Harris expressing his desire to find funding for teaching the Osage language and Indian customs and culture classes. Fred R. Harris responded, stating that he has contacted the Bureau of Indian Affairs to inquire about funding programs and other potential sources of funds. Harris will inform Tayrien once he receives a response from the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
