Scope and Contents

Mr. Carroll C. Swan wrote a letter to Senator Fred R. Harris requesting funding for an education program called "Free Drop-In School" for students who have dropped out. Senator Harris expressed support for the program and contacted the Bureau of Indian Affairs on Swan's behalf to inquire about the status of the application. Harris indicated his desire to see programs like this implemented and promised to follow up with Swan once he receives a response from BIA.
