Scope and Contents
Senator Fred R. Harris received a letter from Mr. Robert L. Martin, President of Oklahoma College of Liberal Arts, requesting assistance in securing a grant for a program aimed at educating American Indians. Senator Harris has contacted the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare on behalf of Mr. Martin and expressed his support for the program. He will follow up with Mr. Martin once he receives a response from HEW.
