Senator Fred R. Harris enclosed a copy of a reply from the Department of Health, Education and Welfare to the Chicano Indian Study Center of Oregon (C.I.S.C.O) Director, Patrick Dion Melendy. Senator Harris expressed hope for a satisfactory arrangement between C.I.S.C.O and the Department so that C.I.S.C.O may continue to operate. Senator Harris also offered further assistance and sent best wishes for the holiday season.
