Scope and Contents
Mr. Jones, the Education Director at Panhandle State College, requested information from Senator Fred R. Harris regarding job opportunities in Indian education for his students. Senator Harris contacted the Bureau of Indian Affairs on Mr. Jones' behalf, and they provided information on teaching positions in Bureau schools, recruitment efforts, and resources for potential applicants. The Bureau also offered to provide additional information and assistance to Mr. Jones and his students.
