The document is a series of letters between Mrs. Vanda Halford, Senator Fred R. Harris, and the Bureau of Indian Affairs regarding financial assistance for Mrs. Halford's daughter's education. Senator Harris reached out to the Bureau of Indian Affairs to inquire about scholarships and financial aid for Mrs. Halford's daughter, who is a member of the Iowa tribe of Kansas and Nebraska.
