Scope and Contents

Senator Fred R. Harris received a letter from Mary Anne Corman requesting help in obtaining a teaching job on an Indian reservation. Senator Harris wrote to the Bureau of Indian Affairs on her behalf and received a reply indicating that they will be accepting applications for the upcoming school year. Miss Corman's name was placed on a mailing list to receive the necessary forms for filing. Senator Harris wished Miss Corman luck in getting the job she wanted and offered further assistance if needed.
