The letter acknowledges Chief McIntosh's letter regarding the establishment of the Carlisle Indian School National Monument in Pennsylvania, which is pending legislation in the House Armed Services Committee. The Inter-Tribal Council of the Five Civilized Tribes voted to support the bill and their action is submitted for consideration. The letter will be brought to Senator Harris's attention upon his return.
