Scope and Contents

The Indian community, with the support of the National Congress of American Indians, has formed an Indian Impact Survey Team to assess the impact of the recent occupation and destruction of the Bureau of Indian Affairs building on Indian people and affairs. They are requesting assistance from President Richard M. Nixon in securing cooperation from federal officials and access to relevant documents to help the survey team complete its objective.
