Scope and Contents

The Indian Health Service program is facing challenges in meeting the increasing demand for ambulatory care services, hospital supplies, and construction of sanitation facilities. There is a need for additional staff, funding for supplies, and improvements to existing housing units to provide adequate healthcare services to Native American communities. Oklahoma, in particular, requires significant funding for these improvements.
