Scope and Contents
The Cherokee Tribe has requested support for S. 2130, the Indian Tribal Government Tax Status Act, which would provide tax exemptions for recognized Indian tribes. The House has already passed a similar measure and the Administration supports it. It is recommended that Senator DFB co-sponsor the bill.
