Scope and Contents

The memo discusses recommendations from tribes in Oklahoma to set up Indian Health Clinics in specific areas. The author has consulted with Indian Health Service officials about these proposed clinics and their master plan for health delivery facilities in the state. The master plan is expected to be completed by early summer and the three recommended clinics are included in it. The author recommends that Senator Bartlett request legislation to be prepared for Congress to establish these clinics.
