Scope and Contents

Marie Edwards received a letter from U.S. Senator Dewey F. Bartlett regarding her concerns about medical expenses at Taily-Walker Hospital in Marlow, Oklahoma. Dr. Emery Johnson of the Department of HEW has asked the Indian Health Service to investigate the matter and provide additional information. Senator Bartlett will provide a follow-up response once the investigation is complete.
