Scope and Contents

The Bureau of Indian Affairs is proposing a reorganization of its engineering functions into five regions to better serve the needs of Tribal groups and increase efficiency. The plan aims to provide more direct assistance to Tribes and improve management of facilities. Comments and feedback are requested from Area Directors, and a meeting will be held to discuss the proposed changes. The reorganization is seen as necessary to adapt to new challenges and better utilize resources.
