Correspondence Regarding Missionary Work and Request for Choctaw Language Reference Material, 1948-07-29
Scope and Contents
The letter is from Carl Albert, a member of Congress, to Rev. and Mrs. Wilson W. Boggan in response to their request for a copy of "Choctaw Definer" to assist them in their missionary work with the Chickasaw Indian Nation. Although there is no book by that title, Albert has requested the Smithsonian Institution to send them a copy of Bulletin 46, A Dictionary of The Choctaw Language. He hopes this book will be helpful to them and offers further assistance if needed.
