Scope and Contents
The Department of the Interior in Oklahoma is unable to sell segregated town lots and lands of the Choctaw and Chickasaw Nations until they are advised on whether the United States Government will include surface rights to coal and asphalt deposits. Therefore, they are not currently selling any town lots or lands in the segregated area.
