Scope and Contents
The first letter is from Carl Albert to Hon. Carl Johnston, expressing happiness about the settlement for the sale of Choctaw and Chickasaw coal lands. Albert mentions wanting to attend a singing convention but may not be able to due to work in Washington. The second letter is from Carl Johnston inviting Albert to a singing convention on July 17 and asking when Congress will adjourn.
