Scope and Contents

Mrs. Paul Hattensty is inquiring about her deceased husband's share of payments to be made to the Choctaw and Chickasaw Indians for the sale of their coal lands. She is seeking clarification on how the payments will be divided among her and her children, as well as her deceased husband's mother's heirs. Congressman Carl Albert provides information on the process and advises Mrs. Hattensty to contact the Superintendent if she does not receive a proof of heirship notice. Mrs. Hattensty expresses her gratitude for the assistance and seeks further clarification on the distribution of payments.
