Scope and Contents

Congressman Carl Albert of the Third District in Oklahoma had a conference with Indian Affairs officials regarding per capita payments to the Choctaws and Chickasaws. Superintendent Roberts plans to set up an office in Muskogee to handle payments and expects checks to be sent out in July, with each enrolled member receiving $350. Heirs will be paid after living enrolled members. Plans are to start coal and asphalt payments before August.
