Scope and Contents

Mr. Pebworth is thanking Congressman Carl Albert for his assistance in ensuring that payments to the Choctaws and Chickasaws for the sale of their lands are being made. He is pleased that the old debt is finally being paid and is grateful for the information provided by Congressman Albert regarding the payment process. Pebworth expresses his appreciation and mentions that the payment is much needed.
