1949 Letter Regarding Payment to Choctaws and Chickasaws for Land Sale to Government, 1949-07-05
Scope and Contents
Mr. James Wickson wrote a letter to Carl Albert inquiring about the payment to the Choctaw and Chickasaw tribes for coal and asphalt lands sold to the government. Carl Albert responded that payments would start in July and asked Mr. Wickson to inform his neighbors. Mr. Wickson then wrote back asking for the payment to be made by July.
