Scope and Contents
The letter from Carl Albert, M.C. to Mr. D. J. Wesley provides an update on the payment to Choctaws and Chickasaws for the sale of their coal and asphalt lands to the government. The payments are expected to begin in July, with each member receiving around $350. Albert expresses frustration with the delay in payments but assures Wesley that they are now moving forward.
