Mrs. Emma McCoy received a letter from Carl Albert, a congressman, in response to her inquiry about payments for the sale of coal lands belonging to Choctaws and Chickasaws. He advised her to send the necessary information to the Muskogee Indian office for assistance. Emma McCoy was thanked for her letter and offered further assistance if needed.
