Correspondence Regarding Per Capita Payment Claims for the Choctaw Tribe in 1949, 1949-08-24

Scope and Contents

The document is a series of letters regarding the Per Capita Payment for deceased Choctaw tribe members. Mr. Boland requests proof of heirship forms for his deceased wife and is advised to fill out only one form for all heirs. There are complaints about delays in receiving the forms, and Mr. Boland expresses frustration with the process. The Department of the Interior responds by explaining the process of mailing out the forms and requests individuals to write in for them.
