Scope and Contents

The letter is from Carl Albert to Mr. F. W. Frazier, thanking him for his letter and explaining that he did his best to secure funding for Indian roads and schools, but faced opposition from Republicans in Congress. The Indian Commissioner also stated that there was not enough money for the program at that time. Albert assures Frazier that he is aware of the need for funding and will continue to work on the issue.
