Scope and Contents
Miss Mansell received a letter from Congressman Carl Albert stating that he has received a petition opposing the extension of leasing the Choctaw and Chickasaw coal and asphalt lands. He assures her that he will resist any efforts to delay the matter and that the Interior Department plans to have a conference with tribal representatives to reach an agreement on the purchase price of the lands.
