Scope and Contents

In May 1974, Central State University hosted Indian Heritage Week, featuring guest speaker Jim Baker discussing the image of Indians in public relations. The first Oklahoma Indian Language Seminar was held at Bacone College, focusing on the importance of Indian languages in education. Miss Cosma Rhinehart was appointed Deputy Chief of the Area Nursing Services Branch by the Indian Health Service, bringing with her a wealth of experience in nursing and public health.
