Request for Congressional Funding for Seminole Nation Health Clinic in 1974, 1974-06-21

Scope and Contents

The BIA has been contacted by the Seminole Nation Chief about funding for a health clinic in Wewoka, Oklahoma. They have found that a line-item request in the HEW appropriations bill is needed, but it is too late for the House to include it. They are informing Senator Bellmon about the situation and exploring possible options. They have not mentioned the communication to the Chief yet.
