Scope and Contents
The letter is a response from the Indian Health Service to Honorable Carl Albert, Speaker of the House of Representatives, thanking him for his support in establishing a health clinic for the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma. The Indian Health Service acknowledges the need for a clinic in the Wewoka service area and will include it in their budget requests. They appreciate the support and interest in the health program for the Indian community at Wewoka.
