Scope and Contents

The letter is a response to a request to change the site of an Indian Health Service hospital from Ada to Shawnee in Oklahoma. The Oklahoma City Area Indian Health Service Advisory Board has already determined the site to be Ada and will not change it without another resolution from the Board. The letter is addressed to the Speaker of the House of Representatives and is signed by John W. Davis, the Area Director.
