Scope and Contents
Part IV of the Comprehensive Program focuses on creating awareness and developing individual creativity in Indian Arts and Crafts. The program includes planning, orientation, introduction to the community, program operation, and evaluation. The program director and Chickasaw Administrative Staff will be responsible for planning and orientation, while the program director and instructor will operate the program by conducting six-week sessions in each of the six districts of the Chickasaw Nation for individuals aged 12 to 18. Classes will focus on the history and significance of various objects in Indian regalia. The instructor will rotate between areas to teach classes.
