Development of a Comprehensive Education Enrichment Program for Indian Children within the Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma, 1975-01-01 - 1976-12-31
Scope and Contents
The Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma plans to focus on educational needs for Indian children within their tribal area by developing a Comprehensive Education Enrichment Program. There are 1,498 Indian students in public high schools within the Chickasaw Nation, and the program aims to serve the 1,696 Chickasaw children between five to eighteen years of age. The program will also provide services for all Indian people living within the eleven county area, not just Tribal members.
