The letter is from Carl Albert, a member of Congress, to Mr. Harry J.W. Belvin, Principal Chief of the Choctaw Nation, discussing the Muskogee situation and suggesting involving other Congressmen in addressing the issue. Albert also mentions inviting Ed Edmondson, a Democratic Congressional nominee, to a meeting in McAlester.
