Scope and Contents

The Bureau of Indian Affairs received an inquiry from Senator Bartlett regarding a petition from Mr. Roy T. Ussery about relocating the Ardmore Agency. The Bureau stated that there are no plans to relocate the agency and provided a previous response to a similar inquiry. The Commissioner of Indian Affairs thanked Senator Bartlett for his inquiry and informed him that there were no plans to relocate the agency. The Speaker also thanked the Commissioner for keeping him informed on the concerns of the citizens.
