Scope and Contents

The document is from Harry J. W. Belvin, Principal Chief of the Choctaw Nation, to Congressman Carl Albert inviting him to attend the 21st Annual Choctaw-Chickasaw Labor Day Meeting. Belvin praises Albert for his support of the Indian people and expresses regret at not being able to attend the National Democratic Convention. He urges Albert to take care of himself and not overexert.
