Scope and Contents

A letter from Mrs. R.O. Scarborough to Congressman Carl Albert inquiring about Cherokee claims due to her deceased family members. Congressman Albert is contacting the Superintendent of the Five Civilized Tribes Agency for information. The Area Director of the L.L. R. Division encloses a circular letter to provide information on payments to the Cherokee Tribe. Mrs. Scarborough requests information on Indian rights and benefits for her deceased family members who were members of the Cherokee Tribe.
