Scope and Contents

Miss Berdena Sue Willey inquired about scholarship assistance from the Bureau of Indian Affairs, but was deemed ineligible due to her poor academic record at the University of Oklahoma. The Bureau suggested she enroll in a junior college or smaller four-year college and maintain at least a "C" average to be considered for further grant assistance. Senator Fred Harris expressed interest in her case and requested a complete report from the Bureau of Indian Affairs to assist her.
