Scope and Contents
This text is a series of letters regarding the case of W. F. Miles and his petition for pardon to restore his civil rights. Congressman George B. Schwabe is involved in the process and is working to assist Miles in his case. The Department of Justice has reviewed the case and determined that they would not present the petition for clemency to the President. Congressman Schwabe is keeping Miles informed of the developments in his case.
