Scope and Contents
The author, Fred R. Harris, is responding to a letter from Mr. Bill Pitner regarding a recent speech on the American Indian. Harris appreciates Pinter's views and is pleased with the new direction of the Bureau of Indian Affairs. He mentions the loss of an Administrative Assistant but expresses confidence in the new Assistant Commissioner.
