Assistance Requested for Obtaining Land Patent: Correspondence to Senator Harris, 1965-01-01 - 1965-12-31
Scope and Contents
The document is a response to Senator Fred R. Harris regarding a request from Mrs. Helen Edge of Fort Cobb, Oklahoma to obtain a fee patent on her allotted land. The Bureau of Land Management only issues fee patents on request from the Bureau of Indian Affairs, and therefore the letter and reply are being forwarded to that Bureau for further consideration and response.
