Mrs. Gertrude Lefthand received a letter from Senator Fred R. Harris regarding inquiries about money received from a lawsuit for her grandchildren. The final decision regarding the money rests with the Surrogate Court of New York, and Mrs. Lefthand has the right to appear in court and provide reasons why a final decree should not be entered. Senator Harris expressed regret that he could not provide a more favorable reply at the time, but offered his assistance in the future.
