Scope and Contents

Senator Fred R. Harris received a letter from Mr. Wendell Chino, President of the National Congress of American Indians, regarding a speech on the "New Destiny for American Indians. Senator Harris is pleased with the new sense of purpose within the Bureau and will contact Secretary Udall about forming an advisory group representing Indian groups. Senator Harris will provide further information to Mr. Chino once available.
