Kathy R. Supernaw requested a recommendation from Don Bluejacket to attend Harvard University Graduate School of Education in the American Indian Program. Don Bluejacket wrote a letter of recommendation to Harvard on behalf of Kathy, stating that she was professionally qualified and morally sound. Kathy also applied for a job at the University of Illinois, and Don Bluejacket expressed his support for her in that application as well.
