Scope and Contents

The document is a letter from the Chief of the Choctaw Nation to Mr. Charles E. Brown, criticizing him for trying to interfere in tribal affairs and challenging him to run against him for Chief. The Chief accuses Brown of attacking him personally and trying to sabotage his administration. The Chief vows to expose Brown's shortcomings and make him unpopular with the Choctaw people.
